Meet Julie – Registered Psychotherapist
A Core Belief in Healing and Connection
Julie builds her practice on a simple yet powerful belief: every individual and family can heal and reconnect. She has carried this conviction throughout her diverse career. Her work spans psychiatric hospitals, school classrooms, corporate boardrooms, and community clinics. In each setting, she sees the same need—to be heard, understood, and given tools to handle life’s challenges.
Understanding Family Struggles and Life’s Pressures
Julie understands the heartache parents feel when closeness fades, conversations turn to conflict, and frustration overshadows love. She also recognizes the weight many adults carry. For example, career stress, past trauma, or the uncertainty of new life chapters often feel overwhelming.
Creating a Safe and Supportive Space
In her practice, Julie creates a safe and compassionate environment for her clients. She works side by side with them to untangle struggles. By utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness, she helps individuals manage symptoms, gain insight, and develop lasting skills. As a result, families rebuild communication, and individuals forge paths that honor their past while empowering their future.
A Commitment to Ethical, Expert Care
Julie’s registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and her memberships with mental health associations confirm her dedication to professional standards. In addition, she respects every client’s cultural and personal story, ensuring that care remains ethical and effective.
